March 29,2012/ The Worst Day Of My Life

Well, today was suppose to be a Great day, My Pa has not been doing well for the last 6 months and My Mom told me Friday he probabley would not be here much longer but we thought we had months! Well, last Friday, when she told me I had not seen him in about a week so I went up there not once but twice He looked so bad and I woke him up and said Hey Pa, Whatta you doing> He struggled to speak and he said looking at you ! Little did I know this would be the last words he ever spoke to me! I sit by his bedside a bit and then I told him I would be back in a few minutes! When we went back in we started treatments and he was not real alert ! My Aunt told me to leave so my Mom could come help so I came and got my kids and she went there! I felt uneasy so when Jason got home I went back and sit with him! He was not awake, and the next day he did not even remember me talking to him or that I had even been! Well last night I called my Grandma and asked would it be ok to come after lunch so that way his aid would have come and he would have had his bath and eaten lunch , that is always when he felt his best, and I wanted him to enjoy my kids! Well I woke up at 9 am and I decided to go back to sleep around 11:40 I got a call from my mom and she said are you asleep I said yeah, she said call me when you wake up! Well when I woke up I picked up the phone and my text message overide my phone and I found out from a Facebook text MY PA was dead! I called my Mom in tears so upset ! My mother in law came and got my children and Mom came and picked me up! The house felt empty without him, I missed seeing him in the wheelchair, I looked for the Oxygen cord that was layways in the hall it was gone, Home Health came for some equipment! It all happend way to fast! I was so Numb inside! All I could do was cry! I got to write his obituary , and did most of the work on his slideshow, It broke my heart to know all I have left are pictures , no PA ! I knew this was coming but I was hoping for just a little longer! So this day is truley the worst day of my life I missed seeing my Grandpa alive by hours! I did not even get to say GOOD BYE! My Grandma told me today, I was his Star ! It made my heart feel good but only for a minute I dont feel much like a star right now I have a big hole in my heart! I love you Pa a Bushel and a peck and a hig around the neck , my life will never be the same without you! I will never forget all the memories we mad in the last 27 years!

WHATTA DAY!

Wel, Mason went to bed at 11pm and woke up at 2 pm today so I am thinking he was not feeling well, so I cancelled PT! Well Mere was suppose to get registered to peep and they told me to be there they would only take like 6 children! SO I was and there was no space in the morming class and 4 spots in the pm! So since we wanted morning we did not register and are on a waiting list to get in but not likely! So who knows! So I get another year with my baby! We did however register for Dance today! I registered her at Jennifer's School of Dance the same place I took! She will take tap, ballet and tumbling :P! I am excited! Mason has surgery in the morning and I am a little nervous so I am not really sleepy! I am hoping this will help him hear we shall see! Time will tell :)

The Day Of Love

A thought back from December...Well Jason and I decided to not buy each other Christmas Presents this year with intentions that would would trade my Jeep, yes I said trade for another car! For all who are keeping record of my car trading (yes I know some always ask "how many now","how long did you have it") I really wanna say mind your own business but this year I have decided not to let others thoughts bother me! So it would be trade number 16! I had the Jeep 13 months We bought it 1/1/11 yes Brand New 2011! When we got it I loved it but after a few months boy did I hate cloth,the no room and Jason hated the payment and the gas mileage! So even though we traded from a Tahoe to the Jeep we were really looking to go back to a Tahoe ! We looked and I found one I was about to Spaz to have loaded and a Hybrid a little more than we wanted to pay but hey I am a fast talker and I usually talk the dealer and Jason into what I want so hey I am thinking it is mine! Wrong it got sold before I could get there! I was heartbroken! Jason found a nice white one with all my "have to haves"(loaded without Navigation) but it had a few more miles on it than what I wanted ! It is hard to shop when you want only white or black with heated leather,captain chairs & Dvd! 2008 or 2009 under 50k ! So we talked about it and I looked all over for different things that potentially I liked! I researched well due to making sure I got all the bang for the buck! So Jason said would you consider a car ?? I was like NO! I will be miserable with two kids! Then as we discussed Mere would start peep this year which meant driving her to and from school and also 2013 means Real school and since Bethel is on the table that would be 60 miles a day with me just doing one trip and Mom doing the other so you are talking alot of gas! Also a car would be a cheaper payment which would help because tution has went up since I graduated! So I looked at Explores and Fusions and they devalue pretty fast as well as not really great on gas, I looked at Acadia's but gas mileage was still not good and if I were gonna pay that much I am going Tahoe! We liked the new Kia Optima but wow a new one to a used that was only 1 year old with low miles devalued 10k ! That is crazy and with us trading alot that was not an option! Jason liked the chevy cars I really do not so we really just kinda put it on hold and was gonna wait a little while! Well we went to Applebees for Supper on Friday January 27 and I said lets just look and see what is down here since we are right here! Well since National Jeep really made me mad last year with the n lies, I never intended to try to deal with them again! That being said I wanted to see the new VW Bugs since Opera gave them away but could not show them because they had not been released! So I pulled in for a look, Well Mere wanted a Red one as soon as she saw it Lol ! Definatley my Child! Well I looked at the Jetta it looked sharp with its new body style and I really liked the red but the sticker was way more than I wanted to pay for a car! So we went to Moore Buick as always! Well Jason asked did I really like the jetta and I said "it was alright" and he said to research size, fuel economy and all the info and see if I might would want it! I just laughed because me in a car NO WAY! Well, The inside was bigger than my jeep it was loaded and had all the options I wanted except automatic car start and the best part for good credit people it was like 1.0 intrest! Well I went back to National "just to see" and they were way off! So I called Frema and said "Beat IT" They did SO then I called back to National and Told Them, to "BEAT IT "and to my suprise they did ! Well I really did not know if it was what I definatley wanted but J really did he liked every aspect of it SO HE BOUGHT IT! SO THIS IS ALL HIM! I love the heated seats on the cold days and the kids have more leg room and it has 5 out of 5 star rating for everything! We get 10 more miles to the gallon ! So far I like it ! He is happy ! We have had it 2 weeks today and so far so good! But just know the next trade will probabley not be for awhile but I am betting I know what it will be :) !

Well It Has Been Awhile

Mason was going to see Dr. Fitch from Duke and we got a new diagnosis called TIBIAL TORISION , which is alot diffrent than the hip problem Dr Classen said he had! He wants us to continue PT and ordering his Theratoggs and Follow Up with him in 6 months! He thinks this is something he will outgrow but in 2 to 4 years with therapy, not what I wanted to hear! I want a quick fix but there is not one! So Therapy it will be! We have seen alot of improvment in standing and less falls per day! That being said PT re-eval said that all his aspects wear in the poor in grading scale because he has aged even though they are better than they were! So we are looking at PT for a long time! We have been battling sickness Mere had an ear infection about
3 weeks ago and I don't always do the follow ups but do to Mason having a 18 month PE I said just schedule them they same day ! Well I am glad I did and lets just say I always will do follow ups now they are important! Mere had been on antibiotics for 10 days and ear drops and when Sandy checked her it was still draining! So they sent off a culture and we go back Friday the 10th for another follow up and culture results! Mason's 18 month PE went pretty good, he was a little lean , he don't say as much as they like but they think that wil improve when Mere goes to school and don't talk for him! Other wise he looks good minus his Hypotonia problems! He has stared saying "I Love You"(not plain) and Sissy! He takes Mere by the hand and wants her to play with him and he shoots Jason's deer that is on the wall! We might have us a little hunter on our hands! Well that is all for now!

Mason's Heading to See Duke Orthopedic!

Well it is 3:00 am and i am up ! i went to bed at 8:30 so i would have no problem getting up this morning and and I have been up since 2:00! Mason went out at 8:30 to he is still asleep ! Well today is the Day hoping that we can get some answers on Mason's bow leggedness, if Physical Therapy is really helping, Does he need bracing! What will help! Physical Therapy was suppose to have ordered his Theratoggs back in December and due to oversight because no communication they thought I had not took him for his weight check due to a Therapist just sticking it in a chart and not letting Angela or Brittany know! So now its mid January and it should have been ordered at the latest December 1! So we are not real happy about that! Well Mere spent the night with Nana and Papa , Papa is gonna keep her lets hope it goes well last time he kept her he called 911 because she got chocked! LOL I made it there before them and we called them off ! Well Pray all goes well! We want Good Reports and something to fix his legs

Mason & Mere

Well Friday after them being sick all week I decided a visit to Dr. Sandy was needed! Mason and Mere both had bronchitus and Mere had an Ear Infection! So since we had plans for Friday night My mom kept Mere so she would not have to go out in the cod and Me, Jason and Mason had a date night! We went to Toys R Us and Got Mere her booster seat for the Spring(since I had coupons to use or loose) I pd 16.00 out of pocket for a 70.00 seat :)! Then we went and looked at a few things that I may want in the future:) Then we went to IHOP! I had Cinna Stack and it was SOOO good! Then we finished off our night Grocery Shopping picked up Mere and crashed! Whatta date night , not exactley like it was 10 years ago! Saturday we al slept until lunch We watched some Swamp Loggers, Basketball and a little One Tree Hill. We had a pretty lazy day! Sunday was another awesomw sleep in, we played and went Laptop free for 48 hours! Mason, Mere and I had to have a nap Jason wore us out being home al wekend! While J and Mere went on a date to Andy's Mason and I played and talked to Nana! Sleep Sunday night was not so good since the late nap so I went into a little cleaning mode! Then I finally went to bed at 6:00 am! We all were up around lunch and we went out to get a few things we needed for everyday life and we had a late lunch at pizza villa ! Mere at lots of Pizza Crackers :) Mere and Mason were in Nana withdraw so around 6:00pm we gave them to her and we came home and did a few home repairs and a massive clean and boy we were tired and all asleep before midnight! Love the family time :) Hope everyone else enjoyed there weekend
